It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any UK government body, local council, NHS trust, the Valuation Office Agency, the Information Commissioner's Office, or any other official body. References to government schemes, legislation and public data are for informational purposes only.

General Guidance Only

The tools and information provided are for general guidance only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, planning, or professional advice. Specifically: the Council Tax Estimator uses 1991 (England) or 2003 (Wales) valuation band thresholds and provides approximate estimates only — actual bands are set by the Valuation Office Agency. The Business Rates Calculator provides indicative estimates based on published multipliers. The Pay Grade Calculator uses NJC Green Book pay scales which may differ from your employer's actual scales. The Planning Permission Checker provides general guidance on permitted development rights which may be restricted in conservation areas, listed buildings, national parks, or areas with Article 4 directions. Always verify with the relevant authority before making decisions.

Generated Letters and Requests

The FOI Request Generator produces templates based on the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the 20 working day statutory response requirement. The Subject Access Request Builder produces templates based on the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR Article 15. These are starting points only — you should review, customise and verify all generated correspondence before sending. We are not responsible for the outcome or consequences of any correspondence based on these templates. If your request is refused, you have the right to request an internal review and subsequently complain to the ICO.

All tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from the use of any tool on this site. You should always verify information with the relevant official body before making decisions.

Acceptable Use

You may use these tools for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, systematically download, or redistribute the tools or their code. You may not use automated scripts to generate excessive requests.

Intellectual Property

All content, code, design and branding are the property of Anthony D Johnson. Tool outputs (calculated results, generated letters) are yours to use freely.

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
