Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QuickDev Tools (anthonyjohnson.dev/quickdev-tools), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Description of Service

QuickDev Tools provides free browser-based developer utilities including a JSON formatter, regex tester, Base64 encoder/decoder, CSS gradient generator, text diff tool, cron expression builder, XML formatter, and colour palette generator. All tools process data entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. No data is transmitted to our servers.

No Warranty

All tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickDev Tools and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the tools or inability to use the tools, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that the tools are provided free of charge and that this limitation of liability is reasonable in the circumstances. In particular, you should verify all tool outputs independently before relying on them in production environments, critical systems, or any context where incorrect output could cause harm or loss.

Accuracy of Tool Output

While we strive for accuracy in all tools, we make no guarantees about the correctness, completeness, or reliability of any output. Specifically: the JSON formatter may not handle all edge cases in non-standard JSON; the regex tester reflects JavaScript regex behaviour which may differ from other regex engines; the Base64 encoder uses standard Base64 encoding which may differ from URL-safe or other variants; and the cron expression builder reflects standard five-field cron syntax which may differ from platform-specific implementations.

You are solely responsible for verifying tool outputs before use in your projects.

Data Processing

All tools process data entirely in your browser. We do not receive, store, transmit, or have access to any data you enter into the tools at any time. You are responsible for the data you choose to process. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

You agree not to: use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the site; use automated means to access the site at a rate that could impair its availability to other users; or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the site beyond what is visible in the browser's developer tools.

Intellectual Property

The QuickDev Tools website design, branding, logo, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of Anthony D Johnson.
